How tuition works
No surprises: here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find our figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the age group, on how many classes a week a dancer takes and on whether the dancer is in the crew. Foundations classes are shorter and teen classes run longer. Our figures are on the registration page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for your dancer and the studio's insurance. It is due when you register for the first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly, by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session if you would rather pay once. Monthly workshops are billed one at a time.
Help with tuition
Ask us whether assistance is open this month. We would rather talk it through than have a family stay away.
Siblings
A second dancer from the same family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same age group within the same session. Message the studio and we will find a spot.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
The crew has a shirt and a showcase piece, ordered in the winter and billed before the show. The spring showcase has a production charge for each dancer, and guests need tickets. Clean sneakers and optional knee pads are bought by the family. We do not enter competitions, so there are no entry or travel extras.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a dancer leaves, so the place can go to someone on the waitlist. A crew shirt already ordered is still billed.
